This 6-minute clip is a preview for our full 23-minute Fundraising Trailer, which gives the viewer a taste of the themes, scenery and real-life characters that will be featured. The full trailer was created this summer for the sole purpose of raising the funds necessary to edit the final film.
While we anticipate a national, primetime airing on PBS, the station does not provide any financial support. And, given the U.S.’s current economic situation, funding resources for such projects as ours have dried up significantly.
So… WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We’re looking to people like you to spread the word and help raise the funds we need to complete the film’s final edit. You can donate to our project to view the full trailer, volunteer with us, network for us, and join our update list. Visit our “Get Involved” page at caminodocumentary.org to find out how more.

The Camino Documentary (working title) follows six strangers from incredibly diverse walks of life, as they attempt to cross a country on foot with only a backpack, a pair of boots and an open mind. For some, the Camino is a religious or spiritual quest. Others seek time to reflect on personal issues, and some are purely in it for the intense physical challenge. Driven by a calling and a grand sense of adventure, each pilgrim throws themselves heart-and-soul into their physical trek to Santiago and, most importantly, their personal journey to themselves.

Short music video intended to give the flavour of an 800-kilometre pilgrimage walk across Spain in the spring of 2006 from St Jean Pied de Port, south west France, to Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, north west Spain. Abridged version. For the full trip in pictures see my video ‘Camino Frances a Santiago – In Spring’
My Camino from Leon-Santiago in September, 2005 covering 300 km.
Camino de Santiago from St.Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela in August 2007. An amazing experience.
This is the video of The French Way (Camino Francés), which is the most traditional Camino de Santiago, ST. James Way. The Journey began in Roncesvalles, near the French border, and ended in Santiago de Compostela in 2008. The video is divided in 20 stages, which equals the number of days it took to complete this journey of 750 plus kilometers. I encourage all to try walking el Camino which is a great life experience.
