This 6-minute clip is a preview for our full 23-minute Fundraising Trailer, which gives the viewer a taste of the themes, scenery and real-life characters that will be featured. The full trailer was created this summer for the sole purpose of raising the funds necessary to edit the final film.
While we anticipate a national, primetime airing on PBS, the station does not provide any financial support. And, given the U.S.’s current economic situation, funding resources for such projects as ours have dried up significantly.
So… WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We’re looking to people like you to spread the word and help raise the funds we need to complete the film’s final edit. You can donate to our project to view the full trailer, volunteer with us, network for us, and join our update list. Visit our “Get Involved” page at caminodocumentary.org to find out how more.

The Camino Documentary (working title) follows six strangers from incredibly diverse walks of life, as they attempt to cross a country on foot with only a backpack, a pair of boots and an open mind. For some, the Camino is a religious or spiritual quest. Others seek time to reflect on personal issues, and some are purely in it for the intense physical challenge. Driven by a calling and a grand sense of adventure, each pilgrim throws themselves heart-and-soul into their physical trek to Santiago and, most importantly, their personal journey to themselves.
