My spanish poem/lyrics, What do you think? also with english translation?

Posted on October 22nd, 2011 by admin

Usted simplemente no sabe lo que significa para mí
He estado buscando. He estado preguntando

You just do not know what it means to me
I’ve been looking for. I’ve been wondering
nobody seems to know this object we call love
how are these problems so difficult to solve?
Now I ask you, how to let the thoughts go
when you know ur heart
and that I was destined to be true

I love my love that defines my silnce,
I miss the whisper of your lips
I would like to be z
but I can not get in your way

Me and I wonder at times,
Is it dark thoughts that come into my life,
I do not think I said, she is my night
and dreams in disguise, I have to fight very hard to see
it just never understand the beautiful nightmare,
when ur no where to be seen, and stuck on an idea of mirrors

I love my love that defines my silnce,
I miss the whisper of your lips
I would like to
but I can not get in your way

Tell me now, how do you leave?
when every step I take brings me to my already seen.
but handcuffed eyes I’m forced to stay away
Happiness is a journey I do not want to be in your way
you are my love, the silence that I could never explain,
why the pain, why do I see the rain, why the things I say lame
You are my love
my one quiet moment
I do not want you to go,
in this love I want you to believe
but if you go, I just want you to know
you are my happiness, so I wanted your happiness from the universe

and whenever necessary to be taken from me

I love my love that defines my silnce,
I miss the whisper of your lips
I would like to
but I can not get in your way

Thanks for reading

Chevy el camino or chevy cavalier?

Posted on September 15th, 2011 by admin

I have the money to fix only one what one is better el camino has a 350 v8 and the cavalier has a 2.5 4 cylinder

Your idea of fix & mine may be miles apart… Without seeing the cars, I’ll say the truck since it’s worth more & has more aftermarket resto parts.

Clinton Joke Please explain this joke (Saturday Night Live 1994) Kevin Nealon News update?

Posted on September 1st, 2011 by admin

And in national news, President Clinton told a group of GM auto workers in Louisiana this week that he once had an El Camino with astroturf in the back. Clinton went on to brag that, even though it was artificial grass, it was the first place he planted Flowers

Bill Clinton had a sexual relationship with Gennifer Flowers, which took place prior to his election as president. (There was no accusation of sexual assault at any time, unlike what the other response said.)

It was a scandal for a while. Clinton ultimately admitted he had an ongoing relationship with her, and Flowers admitted that she earned approximately $500,000 by publicizing the affair in Penthouse (for which she posed nude) and by giving detailed interviews to other publications.

What do you think of latest news out of Mexico Mexican priest alleges mass kidnapping of Central American?

Posted on August 28th, 2011 by admin

What do you make of latest news out of Mexico Mexican priest alleges mass kidnapping of Central American migrants ?
Reporting from Mexico City— A Roman Catholic priest who has long championed the cause of migrant workers on Monday denounced what he said was another mass kidnapping of undocumented Central Americans purportedly yanked from a train by masked gunmen in southern Mexico.

Father Alejandro Solalinde, who runs the Hermanos en el Camino shelter for migrants, said at least 80 people primarily from Guatemala and Honduras were apparently abducted Friday in Veracruz state. He based his claim on information from several members of the group who said they managed to escape. If the report is true, this will be the latest in a string of cases in which armed gangs have intercepted illegal immigrants on their voyage across Mexico to the United States. The gangs often try to extort money from the immigrants’ families or force them to work as drug mules or in other tasks.

Many of those abducted have ended up in mass graves; in the worst massacre of such migrants, 72 were slain execution-style last year in Tamaulipas state, which borders Texas.

The National Commission for Human Rights demanded Solalinde’s assertions be investigated swiftly and that the missing immigrants rescued. The commission says it documented the kidnapping or disappearance of 11,333 immigrants in a six-month period last year and criticized the government for failing to improve safety conditions.

Solalinde told reporters that the witnesses said about 10 heavily armed men pulled the migrants from a train when it stopped at a desolate spot around midday. The gunmen seemed to especially target women and children, rounding them up first and forcing them into waiting trucks, he said.

"Some ran and escaped but the others didn’t," Solalinde said. "And now we don’t know what’s happening to these poor people."The group totaled up to 250 people, many of whom had been staying in Solalinde’s shelter in Oaxaca state before the abduction, the priest said. He suspected the notorious Zetas criminal network to be responsible.

The federal attorney general’s office said it would investigate the incident. President Felipe Calderon has repeatedly had to face the anger of Central American governments that complain their citizens are not being protected.

In an annual report on human trafficking released Monday, the U.S. State Department said Mexico "does not fully comply with the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking; however, it is making significant efforts to do so." It also noted reports that local authorities were often in cahoots with the gangs.

With fanfare, Mexico last month signed an immigration law meant to reduce the dangers and announced a purge of corrupt immigration officers.

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-mexico-migrants-20110628,0,7930010.story

Should these countries demand answers from Mexico like Mexico demands from U.S. ?

Maybe it’s time the U.N. step in and invade and take over Mexico. The country is a failure.Drug-related violence has claimed some 35,000 lives since President Felipe Calderon militarized the struggle against the country’s cartels shortly after taking office in December 2006.

A total of 15,270 people died in drug-related violence in Mexico last year alone.

It’s time the world step in and take over Mexico , install a new gov. If this happened in America, every supporter would be demanding action, lawsuits, arrests, when Mexico does it, supporters act like Mexico never does no wrong.Mexico last month signed an immigration law meant , key word meant…. Looks good in print it’s still the same ole story in Mexico

1970 el camino do is my oil pressure low ? Do I need oil?

Posted on August 26th, 2011 by admin

When i bought the car about 2 months ago the oil pressure gauge would always be at 50 . Today i noticed when im at a stop light it goes down to under 25. when i hit the gas again it goes back up. Is this right or do i need oil or is it something else? Thanks for answering

Actually this is about right. GM cars have always benn kind of notorious for low oil pressure at idle.

I’ve owned GM cars and trucks most of my life and low oil pressure at idle has always been common.

Can someone tell me about the possible deeper meaning of these lyrics?

Posted on August 23rd, 2011 by admin

Here is the verse in Spanish and below that is the translation into English that i found on the internet….although its a clear translation, I would like to know if the verse has a deeper meaning besides what it literally is saying…any opinions? (from the song Pa’l Norte by Calle 13)

Unas piernas que respiran…
Veneno de serpiente…
Por el camino del viento…
Voy soplando agua ardiente

A pair of legs that breathe in…
Venom from snakes…
By the way of the wind…
I go exhaling blazing water…

yes…pretty close..you know that is difficult to express the deep meaning to another language, but not so bad

whats the difference in a Fuel Injected engine and a chevy 350 engine?

Posted on August 21st, 2011 by admin

i am looking to buy a el camino with a 350 4 main motor, im pretty good with fuel injected cars but im worried i dont know enough about carb engines, what are some things to look for when buying a car with a 350 motor? And How do the 350 motors work compared to say a 2.0 Fuel Injected motor?

The early TBI engines are essentially the same as the carbureted ones. The later ones have some differences in the heads and obviously the intake systems, and they use roller cams. As far as condition and such the same rules would apply whether it has a carb or not. I’m not sure what your question is about a 2.0, a small 4 cylinder and big V-8 are very different animals in how they behave and how you would modify them. A 350 will have much more torque and generally turn a lot slower than a 4 cylinder at a given speed.
